THIS IS the first blog thing I’ve done in quite a while. I enjoy blog things, so hopefully this post marks the rebirth of frequent ramblings. In the tradition of my blogging style, I have no idea what I’m even writing about!
Let’s start with PitMad, because it’s coming up on Thursday, June 6th. You may or may not know, but I am the pitch b*tch. I’ve been booking PitMad pitch critiques for the past week, and everyone will be receiving my feedback, plus a new pitch I write as an example, on June 4th, which will give you a day in between to consider my advice and make any adjustments. The critique is $20 and you can send up to three pitches (for the same book). Hit me up through my contact form or send me a DM on Twitter if you’d like to book. I can’t guarantee likes from agents, but the last PitMad went really well.
What’s next? Zombies? Yes. Let’s talk zombies. THE LAST LETTER, which I’ve co-written with the bloody wonderful WB Welch, is coming out this summer! Stay tuned for a cover reveal, fun promo material, and a secret zombie-novella-related thing that we’ll be busting out soon.
What else? Wuuut else.
Oh! For potential and current clients, June is booked up, and the first week of July is likely taken, so the next available spot for a manuscript critique or developmental edit will be the second week of July. Smaller projects–synopsis edits, query critiques, etc.–have a much faster turnaround.
Okay, that’s all for now. Got my blog thing on. I’ll try to write something creative next time.
