I’M STILL reeling over the fact that I crossed 3000 Twitter followers yesterday, which marked four weeks since I discovered and joined the writing community. As of writing this post, I’m about to hit 3200. People are saying really nice things to me so often that if I’m feeling down all I have to do is check my notifications. It’s a true blessing. Positivity right in my pocket. How did I ever function without this place?
The last few days, engagement levels have gone up and my little critique service is starting to take off. It’s hard to believe. I don’t even know how it got to this point, but I hope it never slows down. I have my own aspirations of becoming a famous author one day, but if I can critique queries and manuscripts full time until that happens, that in itself would be a dream come true.
If you’re out there and you’re in the market for a second opinion on that book you’re hoping will land you an agent–or that book you plan to self-publish–I hope you decide to take a chance on me. I won’t just speed-read your book and half-ass an editorial letter like it’s homework.
I’ll dive in as deep as the waters go. I’ll give your characters my full attention and do everything I can to connect with the story you want to tell. I’ll be as comprehensive as I can possibly be.
I will be a real reader for you.
